For those who knew her ...

I no longer have a car. She was my first car, and always so good. I'm going to miss her.

Thanks for the picture sis; I'm glad you are all okay!

Correction

In case you haven't seen the comments on my post from 11/18, evidently you do get to keep your old passport. I did not know that.

Americans, lend me your ears.

My co-worker has me looking up shows.
Me: Do they like Shakespeare?
Co-worker: “To be or not to be.”
Me: Actually it would be “All the world’s a stage.”
Co-worker: That’s the American one.
Me: ???

I don’t expect my co-worker to know all Shakespeare quotes and what play they’re from. But I do expect him to know that none of them are American.

The Grenada Stamp

You have a year from when you get your passport to change your name without having to apply and pay for a new one. I kinda waited until the last minute, but I finally had to say goodbye to the honeymoon stamp (which was also my first and only stamp). I guess you always have to do that anyway when you renew. But it was kinda sad.

Speaking of international travel ... my brother gets back from Spain today!

Costumes

You may think that I've always wanted to do this costume for Halloween. But I don't think I'd ever thought of it until this year.

Hot Cup and I were in charge of the Halloween activity at church; so although neither of us had dressed up for Halloween in a while we thought it would be good to. I'd been trying to think of costume ideas when I saw a Peanuts calendar my mother-in-law gave me last Christmas.

I was super excited about it. We kept it simple but I think it turned out okay. Most people could tell who we were at least. (At least those who are old enough to remember Charlie Brown, poor kids.)

We really need to get that new camera.

International Venture

Trying to coordinate e-newsletters with people that are across the world is lame. Everyday it seems simple, but everyday they come back not making sense to me. These two newsletters are titled as being a report for July/August, but they’re still not ready to send. Hopefully at least one of them will go tomorrow …
