Family Photo

Our preschooler's teacher requested a family photo from everyone for something they're doing this Friday.

Our most recent professional family pictures are about 17 months old (?) which is a long time especially when kids are so young.  I have a couple with all of us that I really like from our recent vacation, but they just didn't seem appropriate.  So, I decided to just take a new one!  I suppose I could have sat us all on the couch for a cell phone selfie and that would have been fine, but we set up the tripod in the field out back instead.  We got a couple I love ♥

Just a few more weeks and they'll seem as outdated as the 17 month old ones though :)

I love my family!

I love how he says alligator.

The next 3 are of a little song they do in Nursery at church to get everyone reverent for lesson time. Lately we've been doing it before our evening family prayer. Our preschooler says they've done it at school too, a little differently, but the same song.

Our toddler is getting independent and he loves his big brother and wants to be like him. One time after big brother was done with a time out, he went and sat on the stairs (our time out place) and whined "mommy, mommy!" I guess it looked like fun? And when big brother was sick he needed his turn getting his temp taken too. He's great at taking care of his animals and is super helpful and productive during clean up time.

One day our toddler was sitting on my (shrinking) lap (right against my big baby belly) and after being kicked quite a bit for a few minutes he finally turns and looks straight at my belly with an adorable face that could have been confusion or offense, or both.

He likes trying out shoes.

Fun with a box.

Wouldn't be complete without cars though.

Potato Head.

A pic his teacher sent me. Chicka Chicka Boom Boom snack. He loves that book.

He continues to love school! They had a substitute teacher one day and I'm pretty sure he thought she literally wore Ms Beth's shoes. I asked if the sub was nice and he looked at me like that was the silliest question said "yeah, all teachers are nice."

Grandpa's birthday card.

Advancing to big slides and swings.

Storytime. Big brother requested this as a bedtime story every night for a week or two and then he was ready to read it to his little brother :)

#2 on the potty means tablet time. And little brother loves sit and watch.

My 3 boys, haha.

That's love.

Pillow.

They loved waiting for the bus in the rain ... and in their new jackets.

Our toddler separated the "sleeping" Curious Georges from the awake ones.
