3 Months
He continues to be super adorable. He loves people and is really interested in whatever is going on around him. The baby in the mirror is so much fun. I love our chats and his squeally laugh, which I finally recorded Friday so I'll have to share that here soon. He loves his brothers and it's beautiful to see him respond to them.
He moved his bedtime up a couple of hours, so the 5 hours he does at the beginning of nighttime doesn't benefit me as much as it used to. Hopefully he'll figure out he's ready for a second long stretch soon.

2 Holidays
Valentines Day and Presidents Day. The 14th & 15th.
I was sort of lazy and didn't look into having our preschooler do Valentines different from the ones he did for preschool last year. The other reason I didn't have him do anything different is that I like these. But anyway, I'm just posting this for the handwriting comparison ... 1 year later :)
Dinner and dessert made by my wonderful husband. Everything tasted amazing!
Braciole & Risotto (breaded and fried, prosciutto and cheese filled steak, see the inside in this picture I took another time he made it. Sooo good!)
Chocolate covered homemade strawberry gelato balls

My newest Valentine.
A dozen beautiful roses for me. Our preschooler helped his dad pick the bouquet.
It snowed a couple inches the next day. It was fun that Hot Cup decided to stay home, the snow and wintry mix that followed made the roads rather slick.
And the boys loved all the outside time that they wouldn't have had without him home. They went for a little walk and I'm told they enjoyed going down the wet slide, even our toddler who would slide right off the end and land on his bum.
Our preschooler was excited to do snow angels!
And the toddler too!
Our preschooler made sure I got a picture of daddy's snow angel, I was in the house when he made it.

As soon as baby was done with tummy time, they were like blanket! Let's get our stuff and sleep here!
Our preschooler pretended the kitchen was his house. I thought it was pretty imaginative.
He took pictures too.

Our preschooler made a road with the magformers, but not just any road, that's our street.
Pretend naptime.
I'll just stick this here because I haven't been posting enough selfies lately (ha). But really because the other subject is super adorable.
Pre-K had a dress-as-a-community-helper day and our boy picked police man. He wore blue because he said policemen wear blue. And he wore a walkie talkie and a homemade badge (craft foam, markers, modge podge, hot glue, and a pin). Naturally little brother joined the fun.
I love when he tells me about school. It's almost never about what they're learning but instead about his classmates, like what someone said, or did, or how they weren't doing what they were supposed to.
Our toddler is hilarious, he'll say "goodbye mommy!" and run out of sight, and then a few seconds later he'll return calling out "I'm back!"
I wasn't sure he understood the meaning of silly and heavy, but he's getting there.
Sometimes I ask his big brother for a squeeze rather than saying hug, so now he'll grab my shoulders with his hands and squeeze them, ha.
One day he was up for nap when I hear him start to whine. I'm not sure what he's saying but eventually I go up and he's standing at the window saying "come back" and his big brother's name. He's sad because a school bus come and went without dropping of his brother. He was super concerned but I explained that his brother was on a different bus. He sat on my lap for a while repeating that his brother was on a different bus while I assured him that was correct. Poor kid was so worried.
Christmas arrivals Magformers and Gravity Maze are played with every. single. day. Gravity Maze was actually given to their dad, but I don't suppose that matters, and neither do they.
We had a little bit of snow a few days before the big snow and I thought I'd let them get acquainted before they were overwhelmed. Every time they got a handful of snow they'd bring it to me for a picture.
They boys love to help with and play with their baby brother! They'll help bathe him, one time they were washing his hair together and it was sooo adorable. Our preschooler discovered that the baby likes when he draws shapes on his cheek with his finger. They'll sing him the ABCs and sit and talk sweetly to him. Our preschooler also teaches him about numbers, the other day he counted even numbers backwards from 100 to 0 for him. The baby loves it and has lots of smiles and noises for them. But even when he doesn't, and is upset, the boys just hug him and try to take care of it. And if they can't they tell me to feed him.
He's pretty great at keeping his head up, but after a few minutes he finds his hand and rests for a while with it in his mouth.
We've played a lot of Sorry, our preschooler his helping his little brother with his turn here, they're counting out the spaces together.

At the end of the month we celebrated my birthday with my family at my parents. My preschooler took this picture with me (using my phone). And my cousin took the other picture.
