May

> Biggest brother went to school and left his lego bus on the floor! Yay!
> S'more.

Toddler loves playgrounds! (And preschooler too!)

Preschooler made a book using the Spirograph for pictures.

I can't get over how far he's come with his writing.

Teacher appreciation week.

I got to chaperone a fieldtrip to Toby's Youth Theatre!

Mother's Day flowers and notepad. We went to Virginia and to spend Mother's Day evening with family.

The next weekend I got this delicious Mother's Day meal.

My cute kids.

Looking at a little green inchworm.
Holding hands in the church parking lot.

> 2 littler ones watching The Incredibles. (Oldest doesn't like movies.)
> All loving Mister Rogers.

May Pre-K

May 1st was my last turn to teach our Pre-K. The assigned theme was "summer" so after our story, writing, and math, we had a picnic and played lawn games.

Playing in our friend's backyard as I pick him up from his last class day of Pre-K!

Pre-K Graduation. They acted out a story and sang a couple of song.

One song said "we're off to kindergarten" and he performed that part happily. Then it went on to "we won't be here in preschool anymore" and he got super sad. I'm told he cried at that part during both days of rehearsal as well. A friend was taking video and sent it to me. Here he is in 4 of the frames, after the last one he ran to me. He's so sweet.

Despite my best effort I teared up a little at seeing him so sad. Here we are, 2 sad goofs at a Pre-K graduation.

He recovered pretty quickly and here he is back in it again.

After we got home I coaxed him into posing for one last photo.

Mom + Toddler Time

Our youngest got one last year home with mommy during the father & sons camp out.

We walked to a park we don't usually go to and he had so much fun!

He has never liked the swing, it's probably been over a year since he agreed to even try one. But he asked to get in the swing. I was super surprised but obliged and then he immediately started freaking out. Since he'd requested it I didn't feel too guilty about snapping a picture before getting him out.

The next morning we went to the library garden (he loved seeing the strawberry plants) and to the playground behind our house while waiting for the big boys to return.

April

Easter Morning.

Easter/General Conference at my parents. Our oldest was there and having fun too, somehow not in a pic.

My sister visited after a week-long hike on the Appalachian Trail. It was spring break and she went with us to Toby's Youth Theatre for Winnie the Pooh.

Strawberries for $1 so we made a special trip for everyone to get their own. All were excited, but one didn't want to show it.
Nice weather!

We love games!

Our oldest at a duck-pin bowling birthday party for a kid in his class.

Playing with birthday gifts.

Our 2nd finally got to take his very first Hoffman Academy lesson!

Fun with theory pages!

Pre-K fieldtrip to the music store.

Helping with spring cleaning.

Putting on a Baby Einstein show for us. Baby Einstein videos are basically watching toys while listening to music. So he'd showcase toys and sing a (lyric-less) tune.

Little brother had fun with it too.

Our youngest just kept eating the onions, lol.
I was impressed with how well he could walk on the beam.
