1.5 Years

He brought me his beach chair and
wanted me to set it up for him.  It was
about snacktime so I set up a snack for
him too while he watched a little TV.
He's 18 months already!

The nurse measured him as 22 lbs 15 oz, 33.5 inches.

He's a happy and energetic little boy :)

He loves going outside and brings me his shoes all the time - his way of requesting we go outside.

He loves walking on dry leaves.

He loves cats and dogs and birds and cars and buses and trucks and airplanes and bikes. Basically any animal or anything that goes.

He points at everything.

He waves at everything.

It's fun to see how he's recognizing that he's learning. If he wants me to tell him what something is he either points to it or holds it high above his head.  He does this all the time, even when he knows what it is I think he likes me to say it :)

Playing with soap foam is serious business.
He knows how to let me know what he wants.

He wears his hat indoors sometimes.

He scribbles on the magna doodle.

He likes to put little things in their slots.  Like the magna doodle pen in it's slot, books back on the shelf (although you'd never know it from the books all over our floor), Shape-O shapes, Stacking Train Blocks, etc.

He says 'yum yum' or 'num num' when he wants me to know he's eating something tasty or when he's pretending to eat. (It's the noise I make when I'm trying to convince him something tastes good.)

I wonder when he'll decide to copy my 'yuck yuck'.

He imitates our facial expressions and noises.  And we try to imitate his.

He is only napping once a day now.  Which I'm sure is directly linked to his increased love of his pacifier.  But we're working on that and he's doing better.

He's tons of fun.

He gives the best hugs.

I love my little guy!

Playing in our first fort.

Enjoying food: chicken nuggets (the couple times he's had them he's liked them, but he more often refuses to taste), pizza, and green beans.
