November

In November our toddler's favorite things were the number 9 and light switches.  We spent a lot of time watching the clock and every ten minutes we'd have a little celebration -- 9! 9! 9!  And a minute after that -- uh oh, 9.  He insists on being the one to flip the light switches and always wants them all turned on.  One Sunday he noticed the row of about 10 switches in the front of the chapel and grabbed Hot Cup's finger as Sacrament Meeting began while saying 'lights, lights' (asking Hot Cup to come help him reach them).

The first Sunday of the month our little one was given a baby blessing by his father. It was a beautiful blessing and a lovely excuse to invite family over.

That same Sunday my big sis brought Snoopy gingerbread houses so we could kick off the holiday season. Our toddler loved decorating them but was not fooled -- they are cookies. So sorry Auntie, but we've only saved one for decoration, the rest have been consumed.

Here's baby with his dad the following Sunday ♥

One Monday we did the Gratitude Tree activity from The Friend for FHE. Super fun, big brother loved it. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family. Here he's trying pie. He wouldn't touch the slice we gave him. I don't think he like the look of the cool whip.

Seeing me work on a few things left him really wanting to use scissors.  So I got him some and he made confetti.

More from November ... tummy time, brothers, family.
