This also happens every time.
Our baby is growing up! He really loves to play and to talk and to be a part of whatever is going on. He is so much fun and super smiley! He loves most when we hold him but also enjoys spending lots of time on the floor and rolls all over the place. He loves bathtime.
I started introducing solids at about 6 months but have taken it really slowly. The first time was an apple slice and he sucked all the juice out of it. He got a few small pieces of it too. Then was steamed carrots which he enjoyed gnawing on. He's also had bananas, avocados, & a few Cheerios. I got these mesh feeder things which is mostly how he's had the bananas and avocados. I've decided to do baby led weaning this time. I'm not a huge stickler about some of the rules for now, but I haven't pureed anything or given him food with a spoon.
We're working on sleeping through the night and he's doing better. I've let him cry it out on occasion and he never cries very long. But he's still easy to put to sleep and often happy to go down awake, so I don't have him cry very much.
