He loves erasing and coloring on the easel, biggest brother isn't a fan though.

He loves using a cup.

Exploring the outdoors. This angle doesn't emphasize it, but he's climbed up a little ledge in the 3rd pic and I'm nervous about the sidewalk below.

Cookies!
He ate up his mac & cheese at the restaurant.

Baby knows what to do on a sleeping bag.

He never really ate his birthday cake. But here he's having some of the cookies like I used on the wheels of his birthday cake, and some of the cake (same recipe) I'd made for the preschoolers.

I didn't think this meal was going to be messy. All he'd had were meatballs, pomegranate, & a cookie! You can see where he pressed his pomegranate filled mouth onto the towel :) (He loves pomegranates! He was with me at the store once as I was getting some and was overly excited. It felt so mean to make him wait til we got home.)

Baby started walking pretty soon after his birthday. I guess I don't have a picture of it, but someday I'll share videos.
Being territorial about mommy.

Our preschooler would pretend to "truck"-or-treat the whole month long, even after the pumpkin baskets were put away. I'd say he loved Halloween!

He caught on pretty quick, but was not excited about potty training. He's still doesn't love it.

Playing. That's a strong truck!

Getting a haircut! I've been using this for a while now and love it. Much fewer complaints and much easier clean up.

Preschooler: I'm going to be just like you.
Me: You are? How?
P: I'm going to get dressed by myself and make my own dinner. And not get to play anymore. And pick up [baby].
I guess I better play more.
In November I was called to Nursery. I loved being in there with my preschooler for his last couple of months. He was an amazing participant and I was a proud mama.
It looks like I neglected to mention the Primary Program in my October post. Our kindergartner had his part memorized and did amazing!! I've remembered a couple other things I hadn't posted before either. Like he sits with a 5th grader on the bus and will tell me something about her occasionally. I met her when she came trick-or-treating to our house and she's really nice. She introduced herself and said she sits with him, anyway, it was nice. I also have a note to self (from Sept!) that he said using a pencil eraser made little pieces that were like broccoli bits. I thought that was a neat comparison.
At the beginning of November I met with his teachers and he's doing well in school. His teacher said he's a leader, self-advocate, and a helper.
My raking helper.

Elementary School Reflections Gala!
The 2 younger boys are running circles around daddy; it reminded me of what it's like to make dinner.

I thought this was pretty clever. I asked if he'd seen it somewhere and he said no.

Reading to baby ♥

He loves writing notes to his friends.

Me & the boys loved meeting their Great Aunt!

We had a gift for Grandma. I love their thumbprint hearts.

I guess I only took food pictures on Thanksgiving. And not even dessert. But my mother-in-law and my sister joined us. My husband smoked the turkey and made eggnog and breadsticks. My sister brought cranberry sauce/salsa. Everything was delicious. My sister stayed to play for a couple of days.

It was my turn to teach our co-op preschool and I loved it!

Sometimes I wasn't sure my preschooler really liked something during the tasting game, so when I'd see him put the star on the smile I'd ask if he liked it and he'd say "I liked it a little." :)
