The Grenada Stamp

You have a year from when you get your passport to change your name without having to apply and pay for a new one. I kinda waited until the last minute, but I finally had to say goodbye to the honeymoon stamp (which was also my first and only stamp). I guess you always have to do that anyway when you renew. But it was kinda sad.

Speaking of international travel ... my brother gets back from Spain today!

Honeymoon

A couple months ago I shared with you some pictures from our honeymoon. I know you were left thinking that I didn't give you enough details of our fun trip!

Hot Cup has shared more about it on his blog. In fact, he's in the other room right now drafting the 5th (and final) post about it! This means (unless you already read his blog :) that you have some catching up to do - you can start here with Day 1 - to read about the 5 days we spent on the Caribbean island of Grenada!

The Spice Isle

I have been Mrs. Hot Cup for 20 days and I love it! I’ll share a little about the wedding day but I’m waiting until I have the pictures back from the photographer.

For our honeymoon we went to the Caribbean island Grenada. It is a beautiful island with so much to see and we had such a great time! Hot Cup had planned it wonderfully, we saw a lot of great things and enjoyed ourselves very much the entire time. I don’t know what pictures to share so here’s a ton (click on them to see them bigger).

The capital city, St George’s:
> Downtown
> From Fort George
> From our hotel

Some Beaches:
> Grand Anse Beach (by our hotel)
> LaSagesse Beach
> Palmiste Beach

Carriacou (a sister island of Grenada):
> Overlooking Hillsborough (I have a club soda to help me feel better after the ferry ride.)
> Pretty view
> Us on Paradise Beach with Sandy Island in the background

> The road to the hot springs (actually not a bad spot right here, it was a tough drive, good thing we rented a jeep! And good thing Hot Cup was driving!)
> Grand Etang Lake (in a volcano crater, elevation 1740 ft)
> Nutmeg plant … bags of nutmeg (Grenada produces many different spices including 40% of the world’s nutmeg. I should have taken pictures on the tour but I wasn’t thinking. However I can tell you all about how they process nutmeg.)

Belmont Estate Cocoa Plant:

> Pretty view from Carib’s Leap
> Hot Cup hiking to a waterfall
> Us at a waterfall

I <3 my husband and I <3 Grenada.
