twenty-five

A quarter of a century seems kind of old. And kind of like a big deal. But that second part is probably only because I just had a whole week of birthday festivities, which was actually completely independent of how old I turned. There was dinner, dinner, dessert, flowers, dessert, lunch, dessert, concert, dinner, dessert, dessert, party [which was also for two of my friends, happy birthday guys!], flowers, dinner, theatre, breakfast, presents. And most importantly the company of the people who made all that happen.

This also marks the first year that my little sister and I largely shared a birthday celebration. Her b-day is two days after mine and they’ve always been celebrated completely separately. It was super fun to share it with Clar!

The Perfect Tank

I own about a million tank tops. Okay maybe more like 50. But I am sad to say I only have 2 of these lace camisoles by Banana Republic. I wish I had at least one of every color but I don't and now they no longer sell them.

They do have some of these red ones left [they did a few minutes ago anyway, their sale items disappear fast]. I of course got one [which makes 3] even though I don't look good in red and I had to go two sizes bigger. If it's too loose to wear I will be very sad.

Aside from them being super cute and super comfy, I love that the whole bust has the lace and that they come up high enough on the chest.

Happy Day

I got to talk to my little brother today, yay! He was at the MTC for 2 months but now he's finally off to Spain!

Uninformed

I took a look at what is happening in the world of television only to find that a month ago two excellent shows were canceled, and I didn’t even know.

Journeyman (NBC)
I’d assumed Journeyman hadn’t been airing because of the writers’ strike, but it may never come back. From what I read I’m not sure that this cancellation is official yet, but I think it must be more than a rumor, and it’s unfortunate.

The Dead Zone (USA)
I only found this show a couple years ago and it airs during the summer. It’s a fun one to watch. It has Anthony Michael Hall, which I think is awesome for some reason, it makes me laugh.

Today's the Day

I give. Today I will likely buy edited R-rated movies.

I've selected a few but I am open to suggestions. What R-rated movies do you consider must-own?

Shards of Glass

Yesterday I woke up late. But church isn’t ‘til one so I was doing fine. I got all cute; well I wore new[er] clothes, eye shadow, and jewelry. Three things that unfortunately don't always make it, but I'm working on that. I was all matchy [in a stylish way]. But about 10 minutes after my ensemble was complete I was changing into a t-shirt and jeans to clean up the mess someone had made of my car.

Someone smashed in the passenger side front window and it looks like they tried to take my stereo. But they must've been interrupted ...
