Gettysburg

On Saturday our baby turned 14 months old. And we had a fun time visiting Gettysburg with Hot Cup's parents.

We started by taking a walk down a lovely path from the Visitor's center to Pickett's Charge.

Then we went to a Park Ranger's presentation at Little Round Top. It was a couple hours past naptime so our little guy was pretty tired, and he finally fell asleep near the end of the presentation.

I didn't want to wake him so I ate my lunch in the car so he could keep sleeping.

After lunch we went to the movie and the cyclorama in the Visitor's Center. It was his first time in a movie theater; he got a bit restless but he was great. When we were done in the gift shop we found a spot to let him run around for a while. It was time for Hot Cup's parents to head home but we decided to see a bit more of the battlefield. Thank you Man from Chicago who caught this cute expression on camera.

See our trip to Antietam 2 years ago. I wasn't so obsessed with sharing a million pictures back then. I bet you miss that. But in my defense I have an adorable little baby now.
