Bus stop photo & getting on the bus. About 5 minutes after the bus left, our preschooler went to the window and announced he was going to watch for his big brother to get home. They play together all the time, it'll be an adjustment for him!
We're doing a preschool with 5 other kid+moms like I did with our first. The first day all the moms stayed and it was sort of a kick-off party rather than a real preschool day. I've told our little guy that next time I'm not staying and he seems good with that. The mom who hosted took all their pictures and will put a pic of each kid on the board. I was pretty proud of my little guy for cooperating so well for the picture. I think the hands on his chin mean he was feeling a little shy about it.
The host is also the professional pastry chef friend that taught me about royal icing. Look at the amazing cookies she made! (I took this pic from her blog ;)
It was so fun getting my big boy back as he got off the bus ♥ The first thing he told me is what he did and didn't eat from the lunch I'd prepared for him, it was sweet. He told me a few other fun things about his day too.
I took individual pictures before they left but wasn't too happy with them (my fault, not theirs) so after school I took pics of them together. If you thought they actually smiled at the same time when you saw the picture at the top of the post - then I tricked ya!
