Matching Brothers!

It's disappointing how few pictures I took with my nice camera this month. My phone camera is so convenient, and I take more photos because of it, but it's not very good quality.

Our baby is the cutest and has become such a big boy.

He loves his toothbrush! (we finally switched over from the kind that my finger slips into)
The boys are at school, it's just us 2 ♥
A spoonful of peanut butter.

Our baby is delighted that someone moved the steering wheel lower.

Saying goodbye as daddy leaves for work.  They do this most days; I can't overstate how much he loves his daddy!

It doesn't look too bad here because that recycling crate was mostly empty, but he loves to pull it out and make a mess. After this pic he climbed on into the pantry.
In the second pic he crawled through to behind the shelves.

Glad he got over his broccoli aversion :)
He thinks remote control Thomas is so much fun.

Big brother is stepping up now that biggest brother isn't there to push baby.

We've had a few picnics. Baby loves pouches (he can hold them himself, it's just that this pic is of his first time) and fruit leathers (not his first time, ha).

Preschooler's first day of preschool (besides the kickoff party I mentioned last time). I watched the teacher's youngest son. I think he's about 6 months older than my baby, but I'm not sure.
He loves preschool!  On the way home we kept pretending our van was different vehicles (fire truck, bus, etc.) and when we got home he said he wanted to be the driver so I told him to climb on in :)

Grocery shopping is so much fun!
The bounce house at daddy's work picnic.
He had a couple playdates.

He drew a smile!
His preschool friend turned 4 & he attended his first birthday party!
He's been into using scissors lately.

Preschool field trip to pick produce. In front of raspberry bushes. And in a field of broccoli.

When I tell our preschooler I'm going to eat him he desperately tries to escape whining "no! don't eat me!" like he actually believes I could eat him.  But when I tell him I'm going to kiss his him he happily smiles and says "yeah, I love your kisses."  But in both cases I'm attempting to do the exact same thing so I think it's kinda hilarious.

He talks all. the. time. and can be pretty entertaining. I love his stories and narrations and hearing his perspective on things.

One time I was getting after his big brother a bit, but not at all mad or upset, it wasn't almost nothing. Anyway, my preschooler gives me a hug and says "I'm hugging you so you won't be mad and dangerous anymore." I'm not sure where he heard the word dangerous but clearly he doesn't know what it means.

Another time his dad was trying to convince him to take his shoes off and he mumbled "daddy's annoying me."

He seems to have settled on a favorite color: green

Here's our oldest reading The Friend and being a loving big brother.

One day I didn't quite make it to the bus stop when he got home.  I was super close but a bush was blocking our view of each other.  I asked how he felt when he got off the bus and I wasn't there and he said "I wanted you."  And then he added: "My favorite part of the day is when I get off the bus. With you."   ♥

After school one day he wrote this note for his teacher. After talking it over with him he made an additional note for her that said "sometimes you are kind". He also drew her a picture of her with 2 other students. Whatever happened to make him write that didn't involve him directly.  He continues to love school. (And his teacher too!)

Elder Oaks came to our Stake Conference and shook lots of hands. Our oldest was pretty upset when he left the gym before he got to us. But he came back and we got a turn, so all was well.

My 3 helpers.

An experiment. Lemon & food color & soap & baking soda.

Great Falls, Maryland side. Celebrating my dad's birthday :)

Matching shirts & yummy watermelon!

Daddy!

Hot Cup made 2 nut gelati this month. Hazelnut & pistachio.
The only pics I have are these of chopped & ground hazelnut, but they tasted amazing!
