June

Our toddler likes to stomp and roar like a dinosaur. He loves his rocking horse and can do it himself. He says yes and nods; and says uh and shakes his head. He says ball, bath, and lunch. He blows on warm food. He is amazing with bedtime and naps. He likes his teeth brushing routine to be like his big brothers'.

2nd offenses. I didn't take his pic the first time around, but when he went back and did it again ...

I try not to encourage playing on the stairs, but he was being too cute.

He loves to be like his big brothers. He's even insisted I take off his pants and diaper. One time he actually peed (on the floor)!  (I think we're a ways from potty training though.  Especially since he refuses to sit down.)
He loves to make a cave with the kitchen mat. He goes there for this purpose often.
Big brothers were in the basement, so he enjoyed the rare opportunity to play with the duplo train.

Our preschooler is super fun and super funny.

One night we watched a video where Christ says to become like a little child. The next night he asked if we were going to watch one about how to be a grown-up.

Earlier in the year, and after answering the question of when he'd be 4 several times, we finally told him that he wouldn't be 4 until Preschool was done. The day after graduation he stomped around singing "I'm 4! I'm 4!"

He's had some interesting dreams. One night we hear him saying that he needs to get on the elevator and asking if he can he get in his big brother's bed. We go in and he's yelling at his big brother, standing on the wooden frame of his bed, waiting for permission to get in. Their heads are maybe 2 feet from each other, but big brother doesn't even wake up. Another night he shouted repeatedly that there was a crocodile all over him. After I went in and picked him up he said there was a crocodile in his bed.

Our oldest reading and playing with his spirograph.

His first real (not mom-taught ;) piano lesson!

Small chairs were out and furniture adjusted for preschool graduation. So biggest brother arranged for snacktime.

We loved Cars 3!

Daddy's Birthday

He asked for this bread cookbook for his birthday, we enjoy his amazing homemade bread!

Toddler was loving leftover birthday cake ... until the ice cream came out!

Bedtime Story & Playdough

And one last pic :)
