Stars and strips crafts. As I took this picture of our oldest he said his star was "simply splendid". It's a phrase in a book we have and it was fun to hear him use it :)
My dad came for part of the day (my mom was out of town) and we had lots of fun with him! The kids were watching TV when he arrived so he sat with the older 2 on the couch and the youngest went up to sit on his lap. The boys loved spending time with him, and toddler was really sweet with him all evening. We celebrated with him by going to the park, playing the water game some more, having dinner, and doing sparklers!
