Merry Christmas!

Hot Cup has been teaching himself to play the piano and brings you this Christmas song:

Toward the end you can see he's a little conscious of being recorded, he can really play it perfectly.

Snowed In

I was quite happy to spend a couple of days at home with my husband. Some highlights from our weekend:

>Decorating the tree (we still need to get a topper)
>Playing the piano
>Shoveling snow
>Making a gingerbread house (although we didn't finish that until today)

Here's a few pics of the tree. We were having fun experimenting with the camera settings :) Which is your favorite?
>Indoor
>Night
>Star lights
>Green accent

We didn't have a shovel but a neighbor had two and let us borrow one. Hot Cup helped with the car he was working on at first and then they both, and a couple other guys, helped with ours. I stood around feeling useless (there weren't more shovels!) and ended up talking a bit with a couple of other girls. It was the most I've talked to any other residents here.

New Camera!

We got a new camera and it's very exciting to be able to take pictures.

We got it not long before our ward Christmas party. Here's me and Hot Cup with Santa.

This elder is asking Santa for a baptism for Christmas.

As you can see, Hot Cup is very excited to be putting together our brand new Christmas tree.

Now the tree is all decorated, I will show you pictures in a little while.

Welcome Home!

Nearly a month ago my brother got back from his LDS mission to Barcelona Spain. It's so fun to have him around again and to hear all his stories!

Here are all us siblings together after 2 years. That lovely scarf I'm wearing came all the way from Spain!

For those who knew her ...

I no longer have a car. She was my first car, and always so good. I'm going to miss her.

Thanks for the picture sis; I'm glad you are all okay!

Correction

In case you haven't seen the comments on my post from 11/18, evidently you do get to keep your old passport. I did not know that.

The Grenada Stamp

You have a year from when you get your passport to change your name without having to apply and pay for a new one. I kinda waited until the last minute, but I finally had to say goodbye to the honeymoon stamp (which was also my first and only stamp). I guess you always have to do that anyway when you renew. But it was kinda sad.

Speaking of international travel ... my brother gets back from Spain today!
