Countdown

I still have a couple more things to post before I'm caught up, but I interrupt the regular progression of things to tell you of something funny our 2 year old does.

In case you haven't heard, he loves watching (digital) clocks.  He loves telling us what numbers are there.  Especially if it's 9 or if there is more than one of the same.  Two fours!  Three twos!  Etc.

It began with him looking for his favorite number: 9, like I mentioned in November's post.  He gets excited when the clock said 9 and then says "uh oh 9" when it changes.

Well, now everytime he hears the oven timer give it's one minute warning beep, he runs to the kitchen to count down the seconds of that last minute.  It goes something like this ... "... 4, 3, 2, 1, 0, [pause], uh oh 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0, [pause], uh oh 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0, [pause], uh oh 9, 8, 7 ..."

It's so funny.  We love him.
