The food we had over Christmas was delicious! I didn't contribute at all but I sure enjoyed it!
But since we were hosting I did most the cooking for New Years. Plus my mom brought something, thanks! And Hot Cup made cocktails New Years Eve & pancakes the next morning, thanks babe!
For Christmas my parents gave me the new Pioneer Woman cookbook; and between New Years Eve & New Years Breakfast & Lunch I used 5 of those recipes.
And Hot Cup Surprised me with a Kitchen Aid for Christmas! That thing is amazing & I love using it! Anyway, I used it for two New Years things. And also for the mints & cake & icing for my sister's baby shower.

Yay for a Kitchenaid. I have to admit that mine is so heavy I dread getting it out and then I really dislike cleaning it. But when I use it I love it and think I should do it again. And then I have to clean it!
The heavy aspect is solved by the fact that we don't have a big kitchen, so there is no where to put it away. It has a permanent spot on the counter. And I actually don't mind cleaning it at all. So far it's no more difficult, or even easier, than the other stuff I would have used.
