The 7th was our 5th wedding anniversary and my mom came and watched the boys while we had a really nice evening out.
Our toddler
- loves to count, can count to 30
- loves to help with everything. it's so much fun :) (example: at the grocery store, I push baby in the stroller while toddler pushes and loads a cart, unloads and scans the food, and helps to bag groceries and reload cart. another example: he loves to help cook, sometimes I can get in trouble for trying to make something without him.)
We love to taste what we're making!

- loves playing in the basement
- loves lots of play/games. some examples are in these pictures: a container of rice (and one of beans), a fish & numbers game, scissors & glue, and he's adding play dough hay to his play dough tractor-trailer-trailer. plus lots of our boxed games (see Racko in previous post :). he's pretty creative with his toys.

- loves storytime. for a week or two we were reading Goodnight Goodnight Construction Site every naptime & bedtime, it tells of five construction trucks and he'd want his toys there and put on a little play as we read it. but he only has 4 of the 5 and one of the first times he did it I asked him where his excavator was and then every time after that when it was excavator's turn he'd ask where it was. we have one for him but are holding out until his birthday! now he's loving a book from the library by the same people: Steam Train, Dream Train

- loves spending time with baby brother and always wants to play with him
- loves pretending to be baby brother
- loves to play with daddy

Tickling finger 'spiders' are after baby!

Baby loves to sit up, loves shaking his head, and loves attention.
