Holden Beach!

I did this post not long after our trip to the beach, but it's just sat as a draft!
----------------------------------------------------

We spent the first week of May with my family at Holden Beach!

Chillin at our lunch break on the drive down.  He saw her on the curb and joined her.

We drove down on my nephew's first birthday and celebrated it with him the next day. They live far away so I hadn't thought I'd get to be with him on his first birthday - so that was super awesome!! (I used my sister's camera so I don't have any pictures.)

These are instruments the birthday boy received that my boys are enjoying with their eldest musical aunt.

Our first day playing on the beach. Our little guy only liked being held or being in a chair. See him protesting when I step away from him?

Daddy/uncle hug!

Our second day playing on the beach. Hot Cup and our preschooler made a sandcastle.  Our little guy decided to try out the blanket, and then even to try out the sand.

I sat near him and he decided to join me on the sand. After a while I got up to get my camera and take a few pics of my sister and her baby, and my youngest sister came and sat with him ... and put sand on him. And when I checked back in my big sister had joined the torturing.  He was a good sport about it though.

Hot Cup flew 5 different kites throughout the week and I don't have pictures of the two 2 line ones, I watched those from the deck while our baby napped. Here he is with the 4 line one!

Our baby loved them!

And he loved his sunglasses (they both did). I adore his little pout.

My big sister had a birthday on our trip too!

My baby sister is so much fun.

As is my brother.

The problem with so many pictures of cuteness is deciding which to share.

Quiet time art. (It's a bird.)

Grandma!

Our preschooler would always request grandma be the one to help him go potty and she would say "lucky grandma!" So pretty soon every time he needed her to help with it he'd go up to her and call her "lucky grandma." Haha, it was pretty cute.

Our boys love walks and enjoyed taking walks on the sidewalk by the road, so we did that most days.

- He loved washing the sand away to find shells.
- Tiny kite!

Beautiful Ladies

- Enjoying the swing, as usual.
- Avoiding the camera, as usual.

Slides! Baby & I did the big slide too :) (This is before they were actually sliding, don't worry, daddy held our boy's legs so he wouldn't break one.)

Our toddler loved playing in my big sister's room. Here they're playing shark. When I came to take their picture I took the pacifier from my little one and maybe shouldn't have because he was instantly less excited and stuck his whole hand in his mouth.

Photos on the last day!

Our preschooler was not going to cooperate for a cousins picture.
