December

At the beginning of December we visited the DC Temple Visitor's Center with Hot Cup's sister (the birthday girl!) and her husband.

We celebrated a couple more birthdays.

We were still celebrating my baby sister's birthday when bedtime came around. And our sweet, tired toddler gave his auntie (my big sis) lots of love.

Naturally it was a month of Christmas activities. I loved our toddler-decorated Christmas tree. Parts of it were redone several times throughout the season. He made the green construction paper stocking ornament with his speech therapist. And Hot Cup picked up some other fun ornaments for him to do.

Why hello handsome.

I finished baby's stocking barely in time.

Both our boys enjoyed the Train Garden at the fire station.

And some other photos I want to include.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs W!

My little sister Clar got married on Friday! She's such a beautiful bride & they're such a cute couple!  The ceremony and reception were lovely and my little family had a great time!!

When everyone else had their cameras out I guess I felt less of a need to get mine, so I don't have a lot of the pictures you'd think I would.  In some ways sad but I'm also glad I got to see things with my own eyes and not just through a lens while adjusting settings.

Anyway, here are some pictures from her special day :)

Waiting outside the Bountiful Utah Temple:

Here they are!

At The Lion House before the reception:

The reception:

My baby had a lot of fun playing cars with his great uncle and second cousins!
I'm sorry Bronson, I don't know what I did but I can see it quite upset you.

They're on their honeymoon now :) We're looking forward to seeing them at their VA reception!

Gonna Get Ma-a-arried

My sister came home for a week - yay!  While she was here we went to the temple (her 1st time :) and someone threw her a bridal shower.

While we were in the temple my baby sister took care of my baby.  They went to the visitors center and I'm told he was an angel.  I don't doubt it.  She said that when they played the audio for the Christus statue that he crawled to it from another room and sat and looked at the Christus until it was over.  Cutie.

I volunteered to bring some decorations to the shower.  For fun.
I'd wanted to try transferring prints to wood; and it worked great!
